"Scott dove on the ball, and we were all smiles," recalled Gerald Fonzie.
Head coach Danny Kaspar had won a lot of big game at Stephen F. Austin.
But in early Decemeber, a road game in Norman, put SFA on the map.
SFA's victory over Oklahoma, not only shocked the Sooners, but has vaulted SFA to its best start in 20 years.
"I think it brought a good deal of publicity, across the country in both the sporting sections and the newspapers, but also on TV," said Kaspar.
Though it is uncertain as to how the Jacks will finish the year...there is no doubt that possibly the biggest win in school history, has given them unlimited confidence.
"It means a lot, it just shows about our team and our players, we were not scared, not afraid to take the big shots and go get the ball, it just shows alot about our team," said Josh Alexander.
And for their remarkable win and start to the season...the SFA Lumberjack basketball team has earned the number 3 spot on our top moments in East Texas for 2007.
