Elbert Adron Mosley, Sr.
Elbert Adron Mosley, Sr., 69, of Lufkin, was born February 24, 1938, in Lufkin, Texas, the son of the late Mary (Collier) and Elbert Franklin Mosley. He passed away Sunday, January 6, 2008, in a local hospital.
Mr. Mosley was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and loved his family, friends and church. He was retired after 41 years of employment with Citation. He served his country in the United States Army from 1961 to 1963. Mr. Mosley was a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Sally Mosley of Lufkin; sons and daughters-in-law, Bert and Tracey Mosley of Chicago and David and Tara Mosley of Lufkin; son, John Mosley of Dallas; daughter, Amy Mosley and her fiancé Carey Brittain of Austin; grandchildren, Markus Mosley, Lindsay Mosley, Amy Mosley, Adriana Mosley, Matthew Mosley, Michael Mosley, Addison Mosley and Devon Brittain; and siblings, Gene Mosley and wife Jenny, Sue Duke and Jimmy Mosley.
Pallbearers will be Dean Mosley, Carey Brittain, Markus Mosley, Ed Mount, Jim Riggs and John Porter

Services for Mr. Mosley will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2008, in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Mike Hunter and Reverend Kathy Barnes officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
