Jasper police are looking for the person involved in a hit and run accident that sent one man to the hospital where he is in serious condition.
The accident happened Saturday night, when officers were called out to to the 200 block of E. Gibson off of US Highway 190.
That is where they discovered Kendall Larkin lying near the shoulder of the roadway, directly in front of a donut shop. Police say Larkin was hit by a vehicle headed westbound, and then fled. He's in a beaumont hospital where he's listed in serious condition.
Police believe the suspect's vehicle is a GMC/Chevrolet. They believe it is a Blazer, Yukon, Suburban or truck made between 1988 and 1993. Evidence shows there would be damage to the front right part of the vehicle, possibly a damaged turn signal and mirror. There will also be damage to the passenger side of the vehicle.
Detectives are also looking for a witness who reported the accident so they can get more information. If you have any information, you are asked to call the Jasper police department at
