Nacogdoches Police Report - 1/8/08

EVADING ARREST: 1500 BLOCK OF WARD STREET. Officers attempted to stop a suspicious person and the suspect fled on foot. Roy Williams, Jr. was apprehended and arrested.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 900 BLOCK OF MARTIN LUTHER KING. A window was broken out of a vehicle and the stereo was removed.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 1500 BLOCK OF DOUGLASS ROAD. Unknown suspects damaged a sign by causing a hole in it.

THEFT: 3200 BLOCK OF SOUTHWEST STALLINGS DRIVE. Complainant reported that a Kodak camera and a small amount of cash was missing from a building.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA-FORGERY: 1600 SOUTH STREET. A suspect was stopped on traffic and presented the officer with a forged insurance card. A small amount of suspected marijuana was located on the suspect. Charges Daniels was arrested.

FORGERY: 300 BLOCK OF WEST MAIN STREET. Complainant reported several checks forged on an old account. The original checks had been discarded and the account closed.

ASSAULT: 200 BLOCK OF CRAVEN STREET. A known suspect assaulted a female by pushing her down during a disturbance. Suspect gone on arrival and a warrant has been requested.

THEFT: 1700 BLOCK OF SOUTHEAST STALLINGS DRIVE. Complainant reported several pounds of copper wire was stolen from the yard of a business.
