WE ASKED YOU TO CONSIDER THIS, AND YOU DID. NOW IT'S YOUR TURN.
Two viewers responded to an editorial on a national shield law passing without a White House veto.
D. D. from Lufkin wrote, "You claimed that a veto on this bill would make it harder to collect and report the news. We as American citizens have a responsibility to tell the truth and to inform authorities of wrongdoing and malfeasance. I am a Veteran and am proud of this country and will no longer sit and ignore media's attempt to make this country into the corrupt and ineffective interfering nuisance you seem to be promoting. I lost many friends and some family to many different wars and police actions for you to tear down. If you do not love America, leave it and move to France and join the French in denigrating this wonderful free nation called the United States."
Russell Grimes from Diboll commented, "It appears to me the free press is trying to work itself out of a job. If they keep telling the enemies of freedom all our classified information, we will be ruled by someone who won't allow anything passed on to the public."
