Mark Vincent Luce
Funeral services for Mark Vincent Luce, 49, of Huntington will be held Friday, January 11, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Reverend Vernon Neely, Reverend Ronald Smith and Reverend Willie Wade officiating. Interment will follow in the Gann Cemetery.
Mr. Luce was born August 15, 1958 in Lufkin, Texas to Donald and Helen (Brock) Luce, and died Tuesday, January 8, 2008 in a local hospital.
Mr. Luce was a graduate of Hudson High School, and was a self-employed painter. He loved riding horses and woodworking. Mr. Luce was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Luce of Huntington; daughter, Sarah Luce of Spring; sons, Logan Luce of Jasper, Wade Luce of Lufkin and Toya Luce of Louisiana; parents, Donald and Helen Luce of Lufkin; brother, Larry Luce of Lufkin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sherry and Robert Trawick, Lee and Clayton Johnson, and Stacey and Shan McGuire, all of Lufkin; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kenneth and Donna McShan of Lufkin; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Clayton Johnson, Robert Trawick, Shan McGuire, Brian Fann, Johnny McShan and David McShan.
Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Dominey, James Dominey, Bob Pate, Wayne Dominey and Morris Dominey.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home in Lufkin.
