Nacogdoches Police Report - 1/10/08

EVADING ARREST: 3800 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. A known suspect fled from officers in a vehicle, refusing to stop. The suspect stopped on East College Street and fled on foot. A warrant is requested.

ASSAULT: 200 BLOCK OF MULLER STREET. Complainant reported being slapped in the face by a known suspect. Warrant requested.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 100 BLOCK OF SOUTH PECAN. Complainant reported that unknown suspects loosened the lug nuts on the wheel of his vehicle.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: 200 BLOCK OF WEST AUSTIN STREET. The suspect was involved in a disturbance with the victim. The victim received a cut during the altercation (minor). The suspect was in possession of two knives. Shemeeka Scott was arrested.

HIT AND RUN: 1700 BLOCK OF EAST AUSTIN. Suspect struck a utility pole and several landscape items and left the scene.

HARRASSMENT: 300 BLOCK OF BURK. An unknown suspect called a residence and was obscene in conversation.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 1600 BLOCK OF CARDINAL. Complainant reported that unknown suspects entered his unsecured vehicle and removed numerous CD's and three black CD cases.

BURGLARY OF A HABITATION: 1000 BLOCK OF DOUGLASS ROAD. Complainant answered a knock at the door. A white female asked him to turn down the music and a black male suspect entered and began fighting with complainant. Nothing taken.

DEATH OF A PERSON: 1800 BLOCK OF EAST AUSTIN. Elderly person with medical history passed away during the night. No apparent signs of foul play.

HIT AND RUN: 4100 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Complainant reported that his vehicle was damaged while parked in a lot in the 4100 block of North Street. No suspects.
