Graveside services for Jeanne Voss, 76, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Waco, Texas with Reverend David Story officiating.
Mrs. Voss was born March 11, 1931 in Waco, Texas, to Ruby Katherine (Lillard) and Jack E. McClellan, and died Wednesday, January 16, 2008 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Voss had resided in Lufkin for the past 12 years and was a computer programmer for Texas Farm Bureau for 10 years. She had a special love for camping and a most adventurous spirit, and took a six month solo camping trip to Alaska in her car. Mrs. Voss had an undying love for her husband, Johnny Voss and her dog, Socrates. She was a member of the Pineywoods Quilt Guild and the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Katherine and James Munson of Rowlett; son and daughter-in-law, John and Michelle Voss of Lorena; grandchildren, Meagan Moore and husband Scott of Hudson, Jenae Fenley of Huntsville, Trey Voss of China Springs, Courtney Vroman and Tanner Vroman, both of Lorena; great-granddaughter, Addison Moore of Hudson; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Marjorie McClellan of San Antonio; special friends, Linda Ratliff of Hudson and Molly Stucker of Grand Junction, Colorado; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Johnny Voss.
The family extends special thanks to the Memorial Hospital nurses on D3 and to Dr. Michael Huber.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home in Lufkin.
