Nacogdoches Police Report - 1/18/08

INCIDENT REPORT: 900 BLOCK OF OAKHILL PLAZA. EMS was called to a sick call at an apartment for an unresponsive one year old child. The child was transported to the hospital and died a short time later. Autopsy ordered and results pending; final ruling will be made by the justice of the peace.

ASSAULT: 2700 BLOCK OF RAYBURN DRIVE. Two individuals were involved in a disturbance and slapped each other. No injuries-no charges.

ASSAULT: 5200 BLOCK OF NORTHWAY. Officers were called to a disturbance. It was determined that a male suspect had assaulted a female. Officers observed minor injuries on the victim and Christopher Douglass was arrested.

CREDIT CARD ABUSE: 4900 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. A known suspect had used a credit card without permission to make charges. A warrant has been requested.

THEFT: 1200 BLOCK OF FERGUSON STREET. Complainant reported that unknown persons had stolen a cell phone.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA-DWI: 300 BLOCK OF WEST MAIN STREET. Officers observed a vehicle in the 1200 block of Douglass Road spinning it's tires. The vehicle was stopped and the driver contacted. Officers suspected the driver of being intoxicated. Officers also located a usable amount of suspected marijuana. Manuel Hogan was arrested.

THEFT: 2000 BLOCK OF BANITA. Unknown suspects removed a refrigerator, stove and sink from some rental property.

THEFT: 200 BLOCK OF SOUTH FREDONIA. Known suspects were allowed in a residence to pick up some items. While there, the suspects also removed a CD player, a DVD player, and a pocket knife without permission.

POSSESSION OF A DANGEROUS DRUG: 2000 NORTH STREET. Officer arrested a driver on outstanding traffic warrants. The suspect was also found to be in possession of prescription medication without a prescription. Audra Poskey was arrested.

THEFT: 3800 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Complainant reported that unknown persons had taken his wallet from his rear pocket. The wallet contained a small amount of cash and several identifying items.

DEADLY CONDUCT: 100 BLOCK OF FERNDALE. The suspect intentionally swerved his vehicle at the victim who was standing at the side of the road. The vehicle brushed the complainant. The suspect was located and a 15 year old juvenile male was taken into custody.

ASSAULT: 1200 BLOCK OF WEST MAIN. The complainant was assaulted physically by the suspect. The victim was treated at a local hospital for non life threatening injuries. The suspect, Jessica Hill, was arrested.
