Nacogdoches Police Report - 1/22/08

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 4800 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Complainant reported a vehicle entered by unknown means and a handgun and an IPod stolen. Vehicle was secure, but no forced entry noted.

DWI: 1900 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Suspect was stopped for speeding. The driver was suspected of being intoxicated. Kyle Lewis was arrested.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA-POSSESSION OF A DANGEROUS DRUG: 1800 BLOCK OF SOUTHWEST STALLINGS DRIVE. Suspect vehicle was stopped on a traffic violation. Officers could smell burned marijuana in the vehicle. Officers located a quantity of suspected marijuana and the driver, Jon Nayles, was arrested. Officers also located suspected ecstasy tablets on a passenger, Philip prince, who was also arrested.

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING: 1000 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET (LA MICHOACANA). Suspect broke out the front door to gain entry to the store. The suspect then checked two cash registers and was gone on arrival of officers. Investigation underway.

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING: 1600 BLOCK OF CARDINAL. A window of a vehicle was broken with a rock. A purse was taken from inside and the actor fled into the woods upon arrival of officers.

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING: 2700 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. A window was broken out of the front of the building and a cash box was taken containing an undetermined amount of cash.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 2600 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET.  Complainant reported that unknown suspects had cut the telephone service wires to a building.

HIT AND RUN: 1000 BLOCK OF NORTH MOUND STREET. Complainant reported that his parked vehicle was struck in the rear bumper by an unknown vehicle which left the scene.

HIT AND RUN: 1400 BLOCK OF MARTINSVILLE. Complainant reported damage to his parked vehicle caused by an unknown vehicle.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF-CRIMINAL TRESPASS: 2500 BLOCK OF SHIRLEY STREET. Complainant reported that an unknown suspect had forced entry to a vehicle which was parked. Nothing was taken. The vehicle was also scratched down the side.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS: 3200 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Suspect had returned to a place where he had been given a criminal trespass warning. Bradlyn Castleberry was arrested.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF-BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 3000 BLOCK OF NORTH PECAN. Complainant reported that unknown suspects had damaged the exterior of his vehicle and also stole the stereo system and damaged the steering column of his vehicle.

HARASSMENT: 300 BLOCK OF WEST MAIN. Complainant reported that a known suspect continues to text message and call on the phone after being told not to do so.
