Nacogdoches Police Report - 1/23/08

ROBBERY: 1200 BLOCK OF CLEAVER STREET. Complainant reported that three known suspects physically assaulted him while walking down the street. The suspects attempted to steal his money. Nothing taken-no serious injury. Warrants requested.

IDENTITY THEFT: 1200 BLOCK OF VIRGINIA AVENUE. Complainant reported that an unknown suspect had been using his social security number to work in another state.

EVADING ARREST: 3200 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Officers received a call of suspicious persons standing outside of a business putting bandanas over their faces. Officers responded and the suspects fled on foot. Two juvenile males were taken into custody and turned over to juvenile authorities. One suspect is still outstanding.

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING: 200 BLOCK OF BOWIE. Unknown suspects stole a washer and dryer from an unoccupied residence. Entry gained through a window.

EVADING ARREST: 2300 BLOCK OF BANITA STREET. Officers observed three suspects looking into a parked vehicle. One suspect, Frezell Childress, Jr, fled on foot and was captured a short distance away.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 2200 BLOCK OF MARTY STREET. Complainant reported that an unknown suspect broke out a window on a residence.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 1500 BLOCK OF EAST STARR AVENUE. Vehicle was entered by breaking a window. A wallet containing cash and identifying documents were taken.

CREDIT CARD ABUSE: 4800 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Complainant reported that an unknown suspect had used his credit card number to make unauthorized charges.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 100 BLOCK OF PLAZA DRIVE. Unknown suspects scratched the hood of a parked car with possibly a key.
