Lufkin Police Report - 1/29/08

ASSAULT/A: 100 BLOCK OF SOUTH FIRST. Complainant reported that he was hit by a known suspect during a disturbance at a nightclub just after midnight Tuesday morning.  The complainant had unspecified injuries.

ASSAULT/AGGRAVATED: 1000 BLOCK OF BRENDA. Complainant reported that his wife hit him in the head with a mug during a disturbance Monday evening.  The complainant sought treatment at a local hospital for visible swelling on his head.

THEFT/FELONY: 2200 BLOCK OF SOUTHWOOD. Complainant reported that four rings were stolen from his home over the past two months.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE: 100 BLOCK OF NORTH GARVAN. Complainant reported that a red and black Kazuma 4-wheeler was stolen from his carport Sunday night.

THEFT: 300 BLOCK OF FIRST. Complainant reported that a Coleman generator was stolen from a fenced area over the weekend.

ASSAULT/A: 200 BLOCK OF CARRIAGE DRIVE. An adult daughter and father made mutual accusations of assault.  Neither party required medical treatment nor had visible injury.

FRAUD: 2600 BLOCK OF SOUTH FIRST. Complainant reported that he tried to file his 2007 taxes and the IRS told him someone had already filed a tax return using his Social Security number.  Complainant didn't have any information who or where this occurred.
