Lufkin Police Report - 2/01/08

THEFT:  800 BLOCK OF MILLER.  Complainant reported that two generators and an air compressor were stolen from the garage of a vacant house Wednesday or Thursday.

DRUG ACTIVITY:  500 BLOCK OF FIRST.  A probationer was caught trying to falsify a drug test by concealing a bottle of urine on her person to use during the test.  The bottle was confiscated and a warrant will be requested.

THEFT:  1000 BLOCK OF MANTOOTH.  Complainant reported that a portable metal building was stolen from a lot Wednesday or Thursday.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  300 BLOCK OF WHITE.  Complainant reported that an unknown person cut the seat of his motorcycle while it was parked in his garage Thursday evening.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE:   2000 BLOCK OF NORTH RAGUET.  Complainant reported that his step-daughter took his car without permission Wednesday.  The car was recovered Thursday night, abandoned at a store.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT:  300 BLOCK OF SOUTH CHESTNUT.  Complainant reported that a man pulled a gun on him at a residence off N. Timberland after the two argued Thursday evening.  Officers went to that residence and found the man who said he had an argument with the complainant but didn't pull a gun.  The complainant said the man pointed a handgun at him.  Officers did not find any handgun on the suspect or at his house.
