Funeral services for Lonnie Mae Lowe, 85, of Lufkin will be held Sunday, February 3, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Steve Hammond officiating. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Chester, Texas.

Mrs. Lowe was born September 30, 1922, in the Fastral Community of Polk County, Texas, to Lottie Mae (Dorsey) and Lonzo Glover.   She passed away Thursday, January 31, 2008.

Mrs. Lowe, a homemaker, had resided in Lufkin most of her life.  She was of the Assembly of God faith.

Survivors include her daughters, Betty Brandon of Hudson, Mary Ann Mogensen of Texarkana, Rita Crustner and husband Bobby of Huntington; grandchildren and spouses, Cynthia and Randy Kirkland, Roy and Donna Owens, Jan and Steve Porter, Tammie and Sam Baker, Kari Mogensen and Kris Mogensen, Gary and Chantea Allen, Stacy and Dennis Young, Leslie and Darrell Patton; 19 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Mabel Faires of Hudson and Sara Andrews of Burke.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank (Pete) Lowe; brothers, Douglas Glover, Edward Glover, and Lavon Glover.

Pallbearers will be Roy Owens, Randy Kirkland, Sam Baker, Darrell Patton, Steve Porter, and Justin White.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Kris Mogensen.
