Nacogdoches Police Report - 2/08/08

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 200 BLOCK OF EAST LAKEWOOD. A known suspect kicked the complainant's heater box in his vehicle several times causing damage. Warrant requested.

ASSAULT-UNLAWFUL RESTRAINT: 1400 BLOCK OF SOUTH FREDONIA. During a disturbance, a known suspect assaulted the complainant, causing visible injuries. When the complainant attempted to leave, the suspect refused to let her out of the apartment. After several tries, the complainant was able to leave. Warrant requested.

DWLI: 2100 BLOCK OF TERRY STREET. Suspect was stopped for having outstanding warrants. Suspect also had a suspended driver's license. Joe Dan Channel was arrested.

DWLI: 500 BLOCK OF BREMOND. Suspect was stopped for speeding. The driver was found to have a suspended driver's license for an alcohol related offense. Morgan Eugene Scott was arrested.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE: 3500 BLOCK OF CENTER HIGHWAY. Complainant reported that unknown suspects had taken a 2004 Honda 100 dirt bike, red and white in color without permission.

DWI-HIT AND RUN: 3100 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Officers were called to an accident where the driver of a vehicle had fled on foot. The suspect was located in the area and suspected of being intoxicated. Bonifacio Morales-Gonzales was arrested.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: 500 BLOCK OF RITCHIE STREET. Officer stopped a vehicle on traffic and smelled a strong odor of burning marijuana. Suspected marijuana was found on the suspect's person. Christopher Powdrill was arrested.

RUNAWAY JUVENILE: 200 BLOCK OF FERNDALE. Complainant advised that her 14 year old son had left the residence at 7:00 am and had not returned.

THEFT: 3200 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Three suspects were observed taking food items from the store and consume them without paying. Suspects gone on arrival.

DWLI: 1800 BLOCK OF DURST. Suspect was stopped on traffic and was found to have a suspended driver's license with previous charges. Charges Robertson was arrested.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: 3200 BLOCK OF RAGUET STREET. Officers responded to a disturbance at 200 east Lakewood. The complainant left in a vehicle and was followed by the suspect. The complainant turned onto Raguet Street and the suspect intentionally rammed the victim's vehicle. Suspect gone on arrival and a warrant has been requested.

DWI-FAILURE TO IDENTIFY: 600 BLOCK OF SOUTH UNIVERSITY. Officer was on patrol and was almost struck from behind by a speeding motorist. Officer stopped the vehicle and suspected the driver of being intoxicated. Mark Trevino was arrested. Suspect refused to provide any indentifying information.
