Jerry Reynolds, 62, of Lufkin, was born March 30, 1945, in Houston, Texas, the son of the late Fairris (Adams) and Bill Reynolds. He passed away on Monday, February 11, 2008, in a Lufkin hospital.
Mr. Reynolds was retired from the Maintenance Department of St. Giles Living Centers. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and wood-working. He also loved to collect clocks. Mr. Reynolds was of the Baptist faith. A former longtime resident of Houston, he had lived in the Lufkin area since 1970.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Reynolds of Lufkin; son, Shane Reynolds of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Brandi Reynolds of Lufkin; grandchildren, Emma Reynolds, Gracie Reynolds and Sydney Reynolds; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy and Donna Reynolds of Corrigan, Jim and Sue Reynolds, Steve and Patricia Reynolds, all of Center; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and C.C. Felder of Center; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Preceding Mr. Reynolds in death were his parents and a sister, Annie Manning.

Graveside services for Mr. Reynolds will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 13, 2008, in the Antioch Cemetery near Center, Texas, with Reverend David Merritt officiating.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
