Lufkin Police Report - 2/13/08

ASSAULT/C: 100 BLOCK OF SOUTH JOHN REDDITT. Complainant reported that a female supervisor shoved him at work Tuesday night.  No injury.

BURGLARY/VEHICLE: 3500 BLOCK OF SOUTH FIRST STREET. Complainant reported that his car window was broken out and the stereo stolen Tuesday evening.

THEFT/B: 600 BLOCK OF WEAVER. A woman reported that she left her pit bull puppy with a friend in December when she was incarcerated.  She got out of jail and learned that the person she left her dog with apparently sold the dog.

BURGLARY/VEHICLE: 100 BLOCK OF MILES WA. Complainant reported that his car window was broken out and the face plate to the stereo was stolen Tuesday evening.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 900 BLOCK OF SAYERS. Complainant reported that the grill of her car was damaged in what appeared to be an unsuccessful attempt to steal the grill Tuesday evening.

FORGERY/COUNTERFEITING: 800 BLOCK OF NORTH TIMBERLAND DRIVE. Complainant reported that a counterfeit $5 bill was found when the till was counted Tuesday.

ASSAULT/A: 600 BLOCK OF MONTROSE. Complainant reported that he was attacked by a known suspect Tuesday afternoon who hit him in the head several times, threw a beer bottle through the complainant's car window and threw several bricks at his car, causing damage.

THEFT: 2000 BLOCK OF ALLENDALE. Complainant reported that a ring and a watch were stolen from her residence last week.   

ASSAULT/C: 800 BLOCK OF KURTH PL. Complainant reported that a known suspect grabbed him and ripped his jacket Tuesday afternoon after the complainant asked to borrow fifty cents.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 100 BLOCK OF HOPKINS STREET. Complainant reported that her car window was broken out sometime Monday night.

THEFT: 700 BLOCK OF SOUTH JOHN REDDITT DRIVE. Complainant reported that she dropped her wallet in the parking lot of a doctor's office Tuesday morning.  The wallet was found and returned to her later in the day but some cash and a check cashing card were missing.
