Lufkin Police Report - 2/14/08

DISTURBANCE/DOMESTIC: 900 BLOCK OF SECOND. Complainant reported that a known suspect kicked his car, knocking out a headlight and dented the car by hitting it with a pipe during a disturbance early Thursday morning.

FORGERY/COUNTERFEITING: 1800 BLOCK OF FRANK. Complainant reported that a known suspect stole her checkbook and forged several checks on her account.

THEFT: 1800 BLOCK OF FRANK. Complainant reported that she set her purse down on a sidewalk Wednesday afternoon to look at merchandise displayed outside and someone stole her purse.  No suspect was seen.

THEFT: 1700 BLOCK OF DEANS WAY. Complainant reported that three women came into the store and put several items into a bag and left without paying.  The merchandise was recovered a short time later behind a nearby business.  The women were not located.

DISTURBANCE/DOMESTIC: 1000 BLOCK OF KURTH. Complainant reported that a known suspect cursed her and threatened her during a disturbance Wednesday afternoon.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 400 BLOCK OF JODIE. Complainant reported that a known suspect came to his house Wednesday evening and broke out two windows while trying to get the complainant to fight.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA/FELONY: 1300 BLOCK OF LARK STREET. Officers with the Lufkin Police Dept. Narcotics Section executed a search warrant at a residence Wednesday evening. Several hundred dollars in cash, two guns, approximately three pounds of marijuana, 4 boxes of marijuana cigars ("Blunts") and digitals scales were seized pursuant to the search warrant.  Much of the marijuana was packaged in individual bags for sale.  Brandon Garner, Clarence Garner and Erica Johnson were all arrested without incident and transported to Angelina County Jail.
