Lufkin Police Report - 2/15/08

THEFT:  1400 BLOCK OF ATKINSON.  Complainant reported that a known suspect stole cash from her home Tuesday.

BURGLARY/VEHICLE:  1700 BLOCK OF NORTH TIMBERLAND.  Complainant reported that a window was broken out of her Thursday night.  Complainant didn't notice anything missing at the time of the report.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  1900 BLOCK OF SOUTH FIRST.  Complainant reported that two windows were broken out of her car Thursday evening.

FELONY THEFT:  1900 BLOCK OF NORTH RAGUET.  Officers responding to a theft in progress located a pickup in a scrap yard but the occupant(s) fled on foot.  The pickup contained a CB radio that had been stolen from one of the scrap yard's trucks.  Tools were also stolen and recovered but the occupant(s) of the truck were not located.

ASSAULT:  300 BLOCK OF PERSIMMON.  Complainant reported that her boyfriend hit her in the face after she hit him during an argument.  The boyfriend was not on scene, no charges filed.

BURGLARY:  3000 BLOCK OF NORTH MEDFORD.  Complainant reported that her car stereo was stolen Wednesday evening.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  1700 BLOCK OF SOUTH FIRST ST.  Complainant reported that a motel room sustained damage during a disturbance Thursday night.  The door and a lamp were damaged.

THEFT:  100 BLOCK OF THIRD.  Complainant reported that cash was stolen from her purse while she was at work Wednesday afternoon.

THEFT:  1400 BLOCK OF BETTY.  Complainant reported that her mailbox was stolen Wednesday night.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  1000 BLOCK OF FIRST.  Complainant reported that someone turned over a portable toilet and threw a rock through a window at a building under construction early Thursday morning.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:  2000 BLOCK OF FORD CHAPEL.  Complainant reported that someone threw a large rock through her car windshield Wednesday night.

BURGLARY:  3000 BLOCK OF NORTH MEDFORD.  Complainant reported that some power tools and hand tools were stolen from the toolbox of his pickup Wednesday evening.

DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE:  800 BLOCK OF NORTH MEDFORD. Complainant reported that her husband hit their 3 year old child and hit her with his fist during an argument Monday morning.  Neither victim had visible injuries or required medical treatment.

BURGLARY:  900 BLOCK OF ELLIS.  Complainant reported that a piece of concrete through a glass door of a business sometime Wednesday night.
