Pauline Whisenant Tobias
Funeral services for Pauline Whisenant Tobias of Pollok will be held Monday, February 18, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Harvey officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. Tobias was born April 28, 1926 in Cherokee County to Floy (Holsomback) and Willie Crum, and died Friday, February 15, 2008 at her residence.
She had resided in Angelina County most of her life and was a member of the Light House of Prayer Church.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Ruby and Roland Sweat of Lufkin, Rose and James McDougald of Pollok, and daughter-in-law, Nellie Kay Whisenant of Hudson; grandchildren, Paula and Max Vann, Melanie and Robert Reece, Milissa Sweat and Dean Boyd, Maurita Sweat, Amanda and Justin Oliver, all of Pollok, Eric and Amanda Whisenant of Huntington; sister and brother-in-law, Aline Fussell and Foy Bradshaw of Hudson; brother and sister-in-law, June and Nell Crum of Pollok; great grandchildren, Reanna, Kaitlin and Brittany Caswell, Daylon Reece, Deaven Castillo, Hailey and Mallori McDougald; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; special friend, Ara Wilkerson of Pollok.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cletis Whisenant, husband, Emmitt Tobias, and her son, Roger Dale Whisenant.
Pallbearers will be Justin Oliver, Robert Reece, Max Vann, Steve Frazier, William Frazier, and Niles Frazier.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Frazier and Jim Erby.
