It could be called "The Dutch Connection", the arrangement Hans Vercruyssee and his cousin Jan Scluitar have set up in their antiques business. Jan lives in the Netherlands and buys antiques all over Europe. Hans lives in Tyler and sells them here.
Hans immigrated to Texas with his family when he was ten. Hans' father Jules opened a hair salon and was a fixture in the city for more than twenty years. Hans carries his father's "Jules Of Europe" name in his business.
The cousins specialize in one of a kind, high end antiques which are shown by appointment in Tyler. While Hans and Jan may be oceans apart, their "Dutch Connection" seems to be working out just fine.
