Lufkin Police Report - 2/20/08

THEFT: 4200 BLOCK OF SOUTH MEDFORD DRIVE. Complainant reported that she accidentally left her purse hanging on a chair in a restaurant Tuesday evening and when she returned for it later the purse was gone.

THEFT/A: 4600 BLOCK OF SOUTH MEDFORD. Three teenagers ran off with jewelry from a store in the mall Tuesday evening.  The suspects were later identified and one juvenile was taken into custody and a warrant is being requested for another adult suspect.   

ASSAULT/A: 200 BLOCK OF KIRKSEY. Complainant reported that she was assaulted by a known suspect Tuesday.  Complainant had visible scratches and marks on her face.

THEFT/B: 1800 BLOCK OF WEST FRANK STREET. Complainant reported an unauthorized withdrawal was made on his bank account by a business he hasn't done business with.

THEFT: 2200 BLOCK OF SOUTH FIRST. Complainant reported that he put his wallet in a chair in a waiting area and took a cell phone call.  When the call was over the man realized his wallet was missing and that another customer that had been sitting nearby was leaving hurriedly.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 3500 BLOCK OF NORTH JOHN REDDITT STREET. Complainant reported that someone had marked all over the walls of an apartment complex laundry room with a blue marker over the weekend.

THEFT: 3300 BLOCK OF LOTUS. Complainant reported that her adult son stole a scanner and a pair of earrings from her.

THEFT: 400 BLOCK OF TIMBERLAND. Complainant reported that the copper was stolen from 27 air conditioning units on the roof of a vacant commercial building Tuesday.

TERRORISTIC THREAT: 1500 BLOCK OF SOUTH FIRST STREET. Complainant reported that his life was threatened by a known suspect who has assaulted the complainant in the past.

VIOLATION PROTECTIVE: 2500 BLOCK OF DANIEL MCCALL. Complainant reported that her ex-husband came to her place of employment in violation of a protective order Tuesday.

HARASSMENT: 100 BLOCK OF WESTCHESTER. Complainant reported that she has received dozens of harassing letters from a known suspect.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS: 500 BLOCK OF AVONDALE. Complainant reported that two unknown male subjects were seen walking in his back yard Tuesday.  The back yard is fenced and the gates are padlocked.

DISTURBANCE/DOMESTIC: 3500 BLOCK OF NORTH JOHN REDDITT DRIVE. Complainant reported that her boyfriend hit her, dragged her and shoved her to the ground during an argument Tuesday morning.
