Nacogdoches Police Report - 2/21/08

IDENTITY THEFT: 312 WEST MAIN. Complainant reported that unknown suspect had entered his bank account electronically and withdrew some money.

THEFT: 800 BLOCK OF JORDAN STREET. Complainant reported that a known suspect came into his residence and stole a wallet.

FELON IN POSSESSION OF A FIREARM-TAMPERING WITH IDENTIFYING NUMBERS: 200 BLOCK OF LAKEWOOD. Officers working security in the 200 block of Lakewood contacted several suspects for suspicious activity. One suspect was found to be a felon in possession of a firearm and the firearm had the serial number filed off. Shamarlon Ratcliff was arrested.

DWI: 5000 BLOCK OF NORTH STREET. Officers responded to a possible drunk driver call. The vehicle was located and the driver suspected of being intoxicated. Geraldo Torres was arrested.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS-EVADING ARREST-INTERFERING WITH DUTIES OF A PEACE OFFICER: 1400 BLOCK OF HARRIS STREET. Complainant had been having trouble with a 16 year old male visiting his 15 year old daughter. Complainant had given the male a criminal trespass warning. Complainant returned home to find him there. The male suspect fled from officers and was captured. The 15 year old female then began interfering with officers attempting to apprehend the male suspect. Both juveniles were taken into custody and transported to Longview detention center.
