Accident Fatality

A Nacogdoches teenager was killed and three other injured after the driver of a car lost control of the vehicle they were in.   Police say 17 year old Juan Martinez Garcia was driving on Press Road at high rates of speed when he lost control of his car. He left the roadway, went airborne and hit a utility pole. The car then went airborne again and hit a tree. The driver was pronounced dead on scene. He had three passengers 17 year old Clayton Rodriguez and 1 female and one male, both 16 years old. Rodriguez and the 16 year old male were air lifted to a Tyler hospital and are in critical condition. The 16 year old girl was taken to Nacogdoches Memorial with non-life threatening injuries. Police believe drugs and alcohol may have been involved.
