Lufkin Police Report - 2/28/08

BURGLARY/BUILDING: 800 BLOCK OF S TIMBERLAND. Officers responding to an active burglary alarm at 3am Thursday found that the business had been broken into.  The owner stated that some prescription medication was stolen.

ASSAULT/A: DAVISVILLE. Complainant reported that her boyfriend pulled her hair and took her phone when she tried to call 911 Wednesday night.

BURGLARY: 100 BLOCK OF ARENA. Complainant reported that his home was broken into Wednesday afternoon and a video game console was stolen.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 2400 BLOCK OF W FRANK. Complainant reported that someone threw food items on his porch and put shaving cream on his truck Wednesday evening.  They also broke eggs on his truck.

ASSAULT: 400 BLOCK OF S BYNUM. Complainant reported that her husband shoved her down and hit her in the face with his fist during an argument Wednesday evening.

FORGERY/COUNTERFEITING: 100 BLOCK OF COTTON. Complainant reported that a check sent to a vendor in Beaumont was never received by the vendor.  The returned check was located and showed to have been endorsed and cashed by an individual.
