Flu Shots

Each year flu shots are recommended to prevent East Texans from getting the virus.   Now, the CDC is warning parents to make sure even their young children receive the shot. The CDC is advising that children as young as 6 months old should get the vaccine. Many counties in the East Texas area have seen high numbers of cases this flu season. Doctors say getting the shot every year starting at a young age could prevent more serious illnesses and it should become part of normal vaccination routines.
