Lufkin Police Report - 3/3/08

DISTURBANCE/DOMESTIC: 300 BLOCK OF SHEPHERD. Four men reported that a known suspect pointed a shotgun at them as they drove by his house early Sunday morning.

BURGLARY/VEHICLE: 300 BLOCK OF N TIMBERLAND. Complainant reported that her car was broken into and her purse stolen Sunday night.

ASSAULT/AGGRAVATED: 800 BLOCK OF KURTH. Complainant reported that he was stabbed in the stomach by a male suspect Sunday afternoon.  The complainant was standing outside a convenience store and the suspect came up and stabbed him with a knife after the two men exchanged words over a previous incident.  The victim was treated at a Lufkin hospital and his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

BURGLARY/HABITATION: 300 BLOCK OF ARENA ST. Complainant reported that his home was broken into Sunday and a microwave, a DVD player, cash and several various household items were stolen.  The complainant noted that the suspect also ate several food items while in the house.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: CHAMPIONS DR. An officer on patrol Friday afternoon found three different stop signs that had been run over by a vehicle in the Crown Colony subdivision, apparently on purpose.

THEFT/C: 900 BLOCK OF S JOHN REDDITT. Complainant reported that a man came into the convenience store early Sunday morning and purchased a cigar.  The man was 21 cents short and left with the cigar and didn't the 21 cents.
