Lufkin Police Report - 3/13/08

ASSAULT/A: 800 BLOCK OF PERSIMMON. Complainant reported that a known suspect pulled her hair, kicked and hit her Wednesday evening.

BURGLARY/HABITATION: 3500 BLOCK OF S FIRST. Complainant reported that his dormitory room was broken into during the past week and his computer was stolen.

LOST/PROPERTY: 2400 BLOCK OF DENMAN. Complainant reported that he dropped his wallet in a store and when he returned for it a short time later the wallet was gone.

HARASSMENT: 900 BLOCK OF MCGREGOR. Complainant reported that a known suspect has been calling and leaving threatening voice mails.

THEFT: 2500 BLOCK OF DANIEL MCCALL. A suspicious acting male customer is believed to have stolen a camera from a department store Wednesday night.   The box for the camera was found on the floor and the camera was missing after he looked at it.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 500 BLOCK OF PERSHING. Complainant reported that a window was broken out on a boy scout house at Chambers Park but nothing appeared to be missing from inside.

BURGLARY/VEHICLE: 4600 BLOCK OF S MEDFORD. Complainant reported that her purse was stolen from her car Wednesday evening.   

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 200 BLOCK OF SYBIL. Complainant reported that the front door on a vacant rental house had been kicked in Tuesday or Wednesday.  Nothing was missing from the house.

THEFT: 1500 BLOCK OF S FIRST. Complainant reported that several checks had been forged on a closed account sometime during the past ten months.

BURGLARY: 900 BLOCK OF CARVER. Complainant reported that several air conditioners and a gas meter were stolen from a residence sometime during the past week.

BURGLARY: 900 BLOCK OF KURTH DR. Complainant reported that someone entered her unlocked residence Tuesday night and stole her purse.
