Lufkin Police Report - 3/17/08

BURGLARY/COIN OPERATED MACHINE: 3200 BLOCK OF DANIEL MCCALL. Three different complainants reported that clothing was stolen from the laundry room at an apartment complex Sunday night.  Each complainant had clothing washing and during a short time span the clothing was stolen from the washing machines.

THEFT: 2100 BLOCK OF SOUTH FIRST. Complainant reported that a man wearing a bandana over his face stole a bank bag as she was making a night deposit Sunday night.  Complainant stated the man approached from behind her car and grabbed one of two bank bags she was depositing.  Complainant fled in her car and called police from another location.

SEX OFFENSES/OTHER: Complainant reported sexual activity that has occurred between a man in his thirties and a sixteen year old female.

THEFT: 3300 BLOCK OF LOTUS. Complainant reported that a jewelry box containing several pieces of men's jewelry was missing after a moving company moved their belongings recently.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 1200 BLOCK OF FIRST ST. Complainant reported that a window was broken out on his car and the convertible top cut Sunday morning.  The car had been rummaged through but nothing was noted missing at the time of the report.

BURGLARY: 1100 BLOCK OF TIMBERLAND DR. Complainant reported that her car window was broken out and the stereo was stolen Sunday morning.

BURGLARY/VEHICLE: 1800 BLOCK OF E DENMAN AV. Complainant reported that a window on her car was broken out Sunday morning.  Nothing was noted missing from the car.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 200 BLOCK OF HEMLOCK DR. Complainant reported that someone threw a large rock through the back window of his car early Sunday morning.
