Graveside services for Pauline J. Wisener Cullen, 86, of Lufkin will be held Friday, March 21, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Alazan Cemetery in Nacogdoches County with Brother Roger Fancher of Bald Hill Baptist Church officiating.
Mrs. Cullen was born April 25, 1921 in the Alazan Community, Nacogdoches County, Texas to Minnie (Parrish) and Luther B. Johnson, and died Wednesday, March 19, 2008 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Cullen had resided in Lufkin most of her life, and she retired from retail sales following more than 30 years of service with Sears. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Linda Beth Wisener of Lufkin; granddaughter, Sharon and husband James Whittemore of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; grandsons, David Wisener, Larry and wife Sharon Wisener, and Kevin and wife Jerrie Wisener, all of Lufkin; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Donnie Byrd of Nacogdoches; sisters-in-law, Dotsy, Robbie and Martha Johnson, all of Nacogdoches; special friends, Ann Cannon and Joyce Ferguson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Leon R. Wisener; second husband, Darragh Cullen; and brothers, Roy, Billy and Charles Johnson.
Mrs. Cullen's family wishes to express their thanks and appreciation to her caregivers, who were with her for the last three years.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
