Graveside services for Kenny Lynn Davis, 32, of Huntington will be held Friday, March 21, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Whitehouse Cemetery with Brother Keith Woolf officiating.
Mr. Davis was born June 26, 1975 in Lufkin, Texas to Donna (McClendon) and Roger Davis, and died Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at his residence.
Mr. Davis had resided in Huntington most of his life. He was a press operator for Citation Texas Foundries, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Davis was saved 20 years ago, and attended the Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Donna and Robert Earl Ellington of Huntington; father, Roger Davis of LaMarque; brother, Mike Davis and April Tullos of Huntington; stepbrother, Clay Ellington of Huntington; stepsister and brother-in-law, Angela and Jason Rice of Ohio; grandparents, Ellen (Davis) Curry, Bobbie McClendon, and E.W. and Naomi Ellington, all of Lufkin; uncles and aunts, Ricky and Cheryl Davis of Lufkin and Vandy and Pattie Sowell of San Augustine; and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Dewey K. Davis and R.H. "Buddy" McClendon.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Phelps, Wayne Smith, Davy Massingill, Dan Massingill, Clay Ellington and Dennis Reynolds.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home in Lufkin.
