Nacogdoches Police Report - 3/27/08

BURGLARY OF A BUILDING: 3100 BLOCK OF SUMMERHILL. Complainant reported that several tools, including a miter saw, compound miter saw, radio and charger (DeWalt brands), two portable twin tank air compressors and three sections of 50' air hose were taken from a house under construction.

THEFT: 3000 BLOCK OF SUMMERHILL. A construction trailer was forced open and a DeWalt compressor, Makita miter saw, Hitachi power drill, power grinder, a DeWalt saw and a multi-tool set were reported stolen.

IDENTITY THEFT: 312 WEST MAIN. Complainant came to the police department and reported that his identity had been used with the IRS in Utah.

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE: 4000 BLOCK OF EAST STARR AVENUE. Complainant reported that an unsecured vehicle had been entered and a purse was taken. The purse contained personal identification.

HIT AND RUN: 1700 BLOCK OF CASTLEBERRY. Officers located a fire hydrant that had been struck by an unknown vehicle which had left the scene.
