Pecan pie

Recipe from Pamela Nesbitt of Camden, S.C.

Total Time: 35min

4 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1 stick butter, melted
2 tbsp corn meal
2 tbsp water
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup pecans, chopped

1.  Beat eggs until fluffy.  Then add brown sugar, butter, corn meal, and water.  Beat well after each addition.

2.  Add vanilla, beat well.  Then add chopped pecans, stir with spoon.

3.  Pour mixture into 2 9-inch pie shells.  Bake until pie has set about 35 minutes, and enjoy. 

Yield: about 8 servings give or take
