Insane or not? That's a question delaying the April start of a kidnapping trial in Nacogdoches. John Wayne McCrosky is accused of putting an 80 year old Chireno man in a car trunk and later dumping him in a field. That happened three years ago. Now his defense attorney has filed a notice of insanity. The trial will not be held until both the defense and the state can evaluate McCrosky's mental status. He's a former fugitive for skipping out on his bond. That delayed an earlier scheduled trial. Now he's in the Nacogdoches County jail.
