Rescue Crews are in San Augustine

Over a foot of rain has fallen since Sunday morning and the flooding concern will probably go into the evening hours in San Augustine County.  Residents should stay indoors and do not travel.  Most roads are closed to get into San Augustine except for CR 147.  There have been reports of boats having to evacuate residents.  Also, reports of three cars stuck in flooded areas, at least one with people trapped inside.  The small town of Sexton is closed off as well. There are flash flood warnings for northern Sabine County.  Stay tuned to KTRE for the latest information.
