Arnold Wins District 15-5A Golf - KTRE.com | Lufkin and Nacogdoches, Texas

She's only a sophomore, but Lufkin's Hannah Arnold is the best girl's golfer in 15-5A.  After shooting a second round score of 73, Arnold won the District 15-5A Golf Championship at Waterwood.  With a two round total of 149, Arnold moves on to regional's.

Lufkin's Meredith Nichols shot an 89 in the second round.  The score left Nichols just two strokes short of a spot in regional's.  As a team, Lufkin finished in 4th place.  The Woodlands surprised no one with another championship.  Magnolia finished second.
