Lufkin Police Report - 4/3/08

ASSAULT/A: 900 BLOCK OF CAMP. Complainant reported that her ex-boyfriend choked her and shoved her against a pole during an argument early Thursday morning.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF A VEHICLE: 300 BLOCK OF TRAYLOR. Complainant reported that his green Ford Explorer was stolen from his driveway Wednesday night.

ASSAULT: 600 BLOCK OF LELA. Complainant reported that he and his girlfriend were assaulted by a known suspect during an argument Wednesday night.  No one had any visible injuries.

HARASSMENT: 1800 BLOCK OF SAYERS. Complainant reported that her ex-boyfriend threatened her during a phone call Wednesday.

THEFT: 1000 BLOCK OF ELLIS. Complainant reported that a very large flower pot was stolen from in front of a business Tuesday night.

THEFT: 1200 BLOCK OF W FRANK AV. Complainant reported that her wallet was stolen from her purse while she was at work Wednesday morning.

ASSAULT/C: 3200 BLOCK OF OLD UNION. A mother reported that her child was accosted by a man while was waiting for the school bus Tuesday morning.  The 11 year old girl said the man was driving a white pickup and pulled up next to her and told her he was going to get her.  The child fled and the man left.  The suspect is described as an "older white man with red hair".
