Monday, Lufkin sophomore Amber Sellers admitted she was nervous to run the 100 meter hurdles in the district finals. The event may be new to Sellers, but she's already one of the best. Sellers took first place in the 100 meter and 300 meter hurdle events in 15-5A. Sellers heads to regionals.
Lufkin had one other first place finish on Tuesday night, the boys 800 meter relay team.
