The Mosaic Center has added a new addition to it's ministries. Recently the Denman-Newman family of East Texas donated their families home to the Mosaic Center. Now the center is selling off all the items inside the house. The sale will start tomorrow at 8 in the morning and continue through Saturday. All the proceeds from the sale will benefit the Mosaic Center. The organization says the money will help them further their efforts to help the community. "It's a ministry about giving women the opportunity who come from poverty or areas that they've not had much of an opportunity spiritually or emotionally or financially and education. We're all about education," Carolyn Tinkle with the Mosaic Center explained. Anything from rugs to china to furniture will be sold over the next three days. The house is located at 601 N. First. The center will also be hosting fundraisers next week. The first will be a benefit dinner and auction at First Methodist in Lufkin on Thursday the 17th. Then beginning Friday the 19th through Sunday the 20th they will be hosting a tennis tournament at Crown Colony.
