Aaron Windham, II
Aaron Windham, II, 43, of Huntington, was born March 25, 1965, in Fort Hood, Texas, and passed away Saturday, April 12, 2008.
Aaron was retired from the Orange County, California Sheriff's Department, where he was employed as a deputy for more than 17 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Zavalla, and was studying the Bible in order to become a Biblical teacher. Aaron served in the United States Marine Corp. for 4 years.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Windham of Huntington; daughter and son-in-law, Amber and Jason Nelson of Picket; daughters, Katy Windham and Morgan Windham, both of Huntington; granddaughters, Kamryn Nelson and Korey Nelson; father and mother, Wayne and Lois Windham of Huntington; brothers, Henry Kerr of Newton and Dewey Windham of Huntington; brother and sister-in-law, Adrian and Carrie Windham of Huntington; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donna and Larry Ege of Corona, California; brother-in-law, Dan Ege of Illinois; grandmothers, Jewel Procella of Newton and Opal Day of Huntington; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other family members; and a host of friends.
Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Aaron and Ruby Windham; grandfather, Henry Procella; mother, Veronica Blair; and grandfather, Rabon Day.
Pallbearers will be George Szemborski, Paul Szemborski, Gary Szemborski, Carlton Windham, Colby Mecklin, Cod Day, Darryl Day and Eric Day.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Shives, Randy Hanna, Mike Holmes, Bill Tressler and Troy Day.
Services for Aaron will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2008, in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Larry Byrd officiating. Interment will follow in the Dunk Havard Cemetery.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
