Rosaline Wiggins, 83, of Lufkin, was born November 14, 1924, in the Beulah Community of Angelina County, Texas. She passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2008, in a Lufkin nursing facility.
Mrs. Wiggins was a homemaker and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a member of the Roquemore Missionary Baptist Church in Henderson, Texas. Mrs. Wiggins loved flowers, gardening and quilting.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Jackson and Ann Wiggins of Lufkin, Leymoin and Jeannie Wiggins of Henderson; daughter and son-in-law, Nora and Billy Sharp of Lufkin; grandchildren, Randall Palmore, Stephanie Marsh, Shanda Clark, Shaye Smith, Shane Wiggins, Sheree Wiggins, Elizabeth Sharp and Teresa Snider; thirteen great grandchildren; sister, Marjorie Walton of Nacogdoches; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Preceding Mrs. Wiggins in death were her husband, Ettle Wiggins; sister, Helen Anthony; and brothers, Thurman Parmer, Albert Parmer and Clarence Parmer.
Pallbearers will be Donald Walton, Lester Rhoden, Ricky Clark, Raymond Smith, Randall Palmore, and Martin Walton.
Honorary pallbearer will be Delane Terry.
Services for Mrs. Wiggins will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2008, in the Lufkin Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Joe Brooks and Bro. Shane Wiggins officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the Lufkin Missionary Baptist Church located at 1303 East Denman Avenue.
