Graveside services for Irene Pasierb, 89, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Berry Cemetery with Pastor Mark Wilke officiating.
Mrs. Pasierb was born November 4, 1918 in Crossett, Arkansas to the late Dora (Porterfield) and Abner Scarlett, and died Sunday, April 20, 2008. She had resided in Lufkin for 63 years. Mrs. Pasierb was a devoted Mother and the best Meme that grandchildren could ever have.
Survivors include her son, Mike Pasierb of Dallas; daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Bob Browning of Eureka, California; and, Sally and Bert McKinney of Lufkin; grandchildren, Shelley Ellis of Brentwood, Tennessee, Lauren Nance of College Station, Drew Browning of Buford, Georgia, Leigh Twente of Dallas, Georgia, Katie Baker of Houston and Andrew McKinney of College Station; five great-grandchildren, Betsey, Sam, Lucy, Charlie, and Vivian; brother, Doyle Scarlett of Crossett, Arkansas; and sister, Ernie Turner of North Little Rock, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Pasierb.
