Freedom Fighters: Ben Ferrell

Ben Ferrell hadn't planned to make a career of the Marine Corps when he joined right out of Baylor Law School in 1951, but after two tours of duty in Vietnam and thirty years in the Marines, he credits the Corps with his success in life.

Ferrell also served with Texas Legislature two terms and taught Criminal Justice at The University Of Texas At Tyler thirteen years.

But it is the Marine Corps that Ferrell missses the most. His memory of those years are sharp as he shows visitors around the Historic Air Museum in Tyler. His knowledge about flight and war are extensive, but his knowledge of the war in Vietham is first hand.
