A huge Congratulations goes out to Amber Sellers and JaMarkus McFarland.
The Lufkin duo will be representing the Pack at the state track meet in Austin this year.
Sellers, won the women's 300 meter hurdles at the regional meet this afternoon in Waco with a personal best 42.98 to take the title.
McFarland, was the winner in the boy's discus with a throw of 161 feet.
Congrats to both athletes.
The regional track meet was held in Waco at Baylor University's Hart Patterson Track Complex. Contestants had to overcome several delays on Friday due to stormy weather conditions, including heavy rain and hail during one point of the track meet.
In all, Lufkin sent 18 boys and girls athletes to the Regional competition.
