Lufkin Police Report - 4/30/08

BURGLARY/HABITATION: 900 BLOCK OF MOORE. Complainant reported that his home was broken into Tuesday night and a TV, some electronic items and some clothing were stolen.

ASSAULT/A: 400 BLOCK OF S BYNUM. Complainant reported that she was assaulted by her common-law husband and his girlfriend Tuesday evening.  The complainant sustained minor abrasions and scratches.      

BURGLARY/HABITATION: 400 BLOCK OF SUNSET ST. Complainant reported that her house has been entered several times during the past month by an unknown person and some jewelry is missing.

ASSAULT/A: 700 BLOCK OF WEAVER. Complainant reported that he was assaulted by a known suspect Tuesday afternoon during an argument over money.  Complainant had minor injuries.

THEFT/B: 1600 BLOCK OF ATKINSON. Complainant reported that a table saw and an air compressor were stolen from his residence by an unknown person.

BURGLARY: 200 BLOCK OF BLUEBIRD LN. Complainant reported that her home was broken into Tuesday and some jewelry, a pair of glasses was stolen along with a set of wheels and tires that were stolen off a classic car in the garage.

THEFT/B: 2500 BLOCK OF DANIEL MCCALL. Complainant reported that an unknown female stole her wallet out of her purse while the complainant was shopping Tuesday afternoon.  The victim and two companions gave chase and the suspect dropped the wallet and got into a maroon car driven by a male and fled the scene.

BURGLARY/HABITATION: 2300 BLOCK OF PALMORE ST. Complainant reported that she had a female friend at her home Tuesday and the friend's husband kicked in the complainant's front door and assaulted the friend in the complainant's home.  Both the friend and the husband were gone before police were called.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 200 BLOCK OF MCHALE ST. Complainant reported that two sections of copper water pipe were cut off and stolen from underneath a vacant rent house he owns.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: 700 BLOCK OF TIMBERLAND DR. Complainant reported that someone threw rocks and broke a business window sometime Monday night.

DISTURBANCE/DOMESTIC: 3200 BLOCK OF DANIEL MCCALL. A married couple reported mutual assault Tuesday morning during an argument.  Both reported that they were hit by the other, no one had visible injuries.
