Emma Lee "Emily" Windsor Guel
Funeral services for Emma Lee "Emily" Windsor Guel, 46, of Lufkin, will be held Sunday, May 4, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Southside Baptist Church in Lufkin with Bro. Jeff Robinson and Bro. Jose Rendon officiating. Interment will follow in the Ryan Chapel Cemetery in Diboll.
Emily was born August 21, 1961, in Lufkin, Texas, to Miriam (James) and Leonard Windsor and died Wednesday, April 30, 2008 in a Houston hospital.
Emily was employed in customer service with E Tech, and had resided in Lufkin and Diboll all her life. She was also a homemaker and a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. Emily was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She had also taught Sunday School at the Gospel Assembly Church in Nacogdoches.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Nunez of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Amber and Justin Murray of Lufkin; daughters, Lucia Alfaro and Chastity Alfaro, both of Lufkin; son, Angel Nunez of Lufkin; father, Leonard Windsor of Diboll; sister, Judy Powell of Diboll; brother, Jesse Windsor of Missouri; three grandchildren, Aliyah, Aaron and Adrina Murray, all of Lufkin; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Justin Murray, Justin Powell, Robert Windsor, Greg Burkett, Curtis Windsor and Mike Windsor.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.
