Graveside services for Clara B. Mobley, 90, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Huntington Oddfellows Cemetery with Brother Glenn Washburne officiating.

Ms. Mobley was born January 17, 1918 in Ashdown, Arkansas to the late Vernon (Garling) and John Pete Marsh, and died Sunday, May 4, 2008 in a local nursing home.

A former resident of McCamey, Texas, Ms. Mobley had resided in Angelina County for 21 years. She was a retired restaurant owner and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Huntington. Ms. Mobley was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved to cook, sew and garden.

Survivors include her daughter, Donnie (Becky) White of Lufkin; son, Bill Mobley of Grand Prairie; grandchildren, Tanya Gray, Andrea Mobley and Stephen Mann; great-granddaughter, Isabella Moody; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sons, John Mobley and Sammy Mobley; and two sisters.

The family wishes to thank the staff of A Pineywoods Home Health for all their kindness and support, and Dr. Jansen Todd for his many years of caring for Ms. Mobley.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 116 South Raguet Street, Lufkin, Texas 75904.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Lufkin.
