The Corrigan Bulldogs were entered in just three events at the state track meet. The Bulldogs still finished fifth in the overall taem standings.
Corrigan didn't waste a single event. Kameron Horace, Damien Horace, Chase Ford and Chris Drayton won the 4 by 400 meter relay. Kamaron Horace also won the 200 meter dash and took 4th in the long jump.
"It's like a state championship football game with a lot of people coming behind and saying congratulations and stuff," Horace says.
The Lady Bulldogs only shot at a medal was a freshman. Samantha Taylor won the shot put.
"Oh my gosh, it's amazing," Taylor says.
"I've never been a state champion," Drayton says. "To see something like that come out of Corrigan it felt real good."
