Central softball fell short of the playoffs, but the Lady Bulldogs do have talent. Two more young ladies are headed to play junior college ball. Brittany Wilson and Heather Smitherman both signed with Lon Morris this afternoon.
The two began playing softball together back in the 8th grade. They say it shouldn't be too bad staying together for two more years.
"It's going to be really neat because we have an advantage of knowing each other when we go in," Smitherman says.
"It's going to be fun," Wilson says. "I'm glad I'm going with someone I know to college, so I won't be by myself."
Both girls say they can't wait to face Central teammate Tiffany Oliver. Oliver already signed with Galveston.
