A Corrigan man has been sentenced to three years in prison after threatening a Lufkin judge.
26-year-old Humberto Cruz will have to serve the three years after he completes the 12-years he's serving right now for beating a woman back in 2006. The state prosecutor said a co-worker overheard Cruz making death threats to Judge Barry Bryan whom Cruz was scheduled to appear in front of for a hearing involving the aggravated assault. Cruz was found guilty of retaliation.
